Ryan Woodings, the founder of Metageek, typically creates Wi-Fi tools for big places like coffee shops, football stadiums, and more.

Woodings noticed his next-door neighbor, who teaches kindergarten, struggled with her Wi-Fi connection. Her best connection was in her kitchen, but that's the worst place to teach since she has kids of her own.
