I'll start with the bad news. MetaGeek, the company, is no more. It was acquired by Auvik Networks in 2022. And then in October of 2024, Oscium acquired the products, brands and intellectual property to complement our hardware portfolio. However, we aren't going to run MetaGeek as a standalone business, and the combined company will known as Oscium.

Now, the good news. Oscium will treat those MetaGeek products the way MetaGeek would have--that's why I am here. That means we'll continue to make the invisible world of Wi-Fi and RF spectrum visible, and create innovative visualizations to make spark your intuition and simplify the complex.

One of the highlights of my career has been hearing from MetaGeek customers about the impact that Wi-Spy, inSSIDer and Chanalyzer has had on you. I've met so many people who got their start in WLAN and/or network engineering when you MetaGeek software showed you something you'd never seen before, and you discovered a new passion. That is the essence of MetaGeek, and it isn't a legacy that we want walk away from. So what do we do?

We are honoring that MetaGeek legacy by renaming our flagship application the MetaGeek App. MetaGeek App is the culmination of MetaGeek software--combining visual packet analysis with spectrum make what is happening on and happening to your Wi-Fi visible to an extent that has never been available before.

We have big plans for the MetaGeek App, and I be posting more about those in the coming weeks.
